8. Press the Channel Setup softkey.
9. Select Channel 1.
10. Change the channel to “GRAN SEED CONTROL
11. When switching from planter control to granular seed
control, the Gear Ratio will default to 1. Reset this
value to 1.9. # Seed Rows will default to 0. Reset to
number of active rows.
12. At the Channel Setup screen, press the
Valve Calibration softkey.
Follow the on-screen instructions to run a valve
calibration.
Note: This is not the same as Spreader Constant
calibration (step 25). Valve Cal MUST BE done
any time the monitor is switched into Granular
Seed Control mode.
13. When the calibration is complete, press the
Channel Setup softkey to return to the
Channel Setup screen.
14. Press the Control Setup softkey.
15. Press the material labelled “SPLIT AIR”.
16. Reset the target rate to the meter pressure
suggested by the Hydraulic Rate Charts on page 38
(typically 2.0 or 2.5 inches of water pressure).
17. Press the Work Screen softkey to return to the
main work menu.
