Seed Flap Replacement

Current Drill Model Flap

Refer to Figure 46

To replace a seed ﬂap , use needle nose pliers or

similar tool to grasp “T” top of ﬂap. Pull upward to remove

ﬂap from metal bracket .

Push new seed ﬂap down through metal bracket

until ﬂap snaps into place with “T” top resting on top of

bracket.

If a Seed-Lok

®

or Keeton

®

seed ﬁrmer is also installed, it

may be necessary to shorten the ﬂap.

Older Drill Model Flap

Refer to Figure 47

To replace a seed ﬂap use a needle nose or similar

tool and squeeze the tabs together. Pull plastic seed

ﬂap down out of metal bracket .

Push new seed ﬂap up through metal bracket until

tabs on seed ﬂap snap in place.

®

seed ﬁrmer is also installed, it

may be necessary to shorten the ﬂap.
