1.5.3 During Operation
Ensurethattheworkingrangeandthearea
around the machine are clear (children!)
beforeoperatingthemachine.
Alwaysensureadequatevisibility!
Donotstandonthemachinewhileitisin
operation!
Operatorsmusthaveavaliddrivinglicence
inordertodriveonpublicroads.
Thepersoninchargemust:
• providetheoperatorwithacopyofthe
OperatingInstructions.
• ensurethattheoperatorhasread and
understoodtheinstructions.
• makesurethattheoperatorisawareof
the specic regulations relating to the
machinewhendrivingonpublicroads.
As transport regulations vary regionally,
theregulationswhichapplytoyourlocality
should be complied with in terms of this
machine. Note specific requirements
regarding implement width, speed, and
featuressuchaslightsandbrakes:ensure
thesearecompliedwith(forexamplekeep
to maximum transportation speeds with
machines if not tted with brakes, and/or
accordingtomachinetransportationwidth).
1.6 Servicing &
Maintenance
Ensurethatregularchecksandinspections
are always carried out within the periods
required by law or specified in these
OperatingInstructions.
Whencarryingoutserviceandmaintenance
workalways:
• switchoffthetractorengineandremove
theignitionkey.
• wait until all the machine parts have
stoppedmoving.
Payparticularattentiontothoseitemswhich
require specialist service tools or training
tobecarriedoutbyqualiedpersonnel.Do
notattempttoservicetheseitemsyourself!
Theseincludeitemsretainingpressure(e.g.
accumulatorcircuits),orforce(e.g.spring
tines),andDDaxlesofanytype.
